i MoNellì

Year of foundation 2013

The group was born in 2013.

The name refers to a dear friend of ours who left us prematurely: Nello Graziani.

We all knew him by the name of Nellino and hence the name “Monelli”. The objective is to propose non-trivial themes that can arouse the desire for curiosity in the viewer.

From the first year that we represented the black circus to this year that we wanted to represent "Christmas in Casa Monellì".

The History

L’Associazione Socio Culturale “I MoNellì” was born in 2013 from a union of ideas and dreams of some Friends. The aims of the association are the organization of events and demonstrations, the promotion of recreational, sporting, cultural and social initiatives, aimed at encouraging aggregation, friendship and solidarity between all members and the people to whom such initiatives are aimed.

In particular, the Association aims to participate in Carnival events through the formation of a Quadrille, a folkloristic group formed according to the canons of the centenary tradition of the "Carnival of Palma Campania".
