Teglanum

Year of foundation 2006

La quadriglia Teglianum è nata nel 2006.

We are a group of friends experimenting with ideas to put on the road in the carnival event. “In my mind” is the title of the theme.

If we think that everything we do and invent starts from the brain, this is meant to be a tribute to this infinite, unlimited instrument.

And it is precisely from here that our idea starts “in my mind.

Inspired by the movie Inside Out. We also took some ideas because the film deals with psychology and we also thought about doing this experiment and taking emotions on the road. We didn't totally imitate the film, because, in our opinion, it limited the expression of carnival.

By making tailored costumes it is logical that we will enlarge the scenic effect a little.

So for us this idea represents Carnival 2025.

The History

Theassociazione culturale “Teglanum” was born in 2006 from the bond that unites a group of friends and their passion for the most popular Palmese tradition in the city, the "Quadriglia".

Over the years, many shows have been presented and just as many goals have been achieved, always keeping alive the passion and love for our famous Carnival.

The group has also seen its ranks grow with many very young people who over time have increased their attachment to this centuries-old tradition, providing continuous stimulus to new ideas and spectacularity.

Fulcro principale di questa compagine ormai consolidata resta la profonda e radicata dedizione a questa festa che racchiude in essa la goliardia, l’allegria, la condivisione, la libertà di espressione ma soprattutto il rispetto verso una storicità importante per quegli elementi caratteristici come il MAESTRO, la BANDA PICCOLA, gli STRUMENTI TIPICI e la COSTUMISTICA.

La quadriglia “Teglanum” has always stood out, through strong innovations that over time have characterized the style of this group which, in the same way, has unfailingly preserved tradition and has always tried to preserve those flavours, those sensations and that intoxicating scent of indelible experience, made of fun, music and passion.
